Remove Content Credentials from an image, in your browser

The new Remove C2PA Metadata tool takes the Content Credentials (the C2PA provenance manifest that AI image generators, Adobe apps and some cameras embed) out of a JPEG, PNG or WebP image and leaves everything else exactly as it was. The work happens on your device: the image is never uploaded.

Only the manifest store is cut out: the APP11 segments of a JPEG, the caBX chunk of a PNG or the C2PA chunk of a WebP
No re-encoding, so the pixels, transparency, EXIF, colour profile and XMP stay byte for byte, under the same file name
The cleaned file is scanned again before you download it, and the page shows the result

The new PDF Signature Checker reads the digital signatures inside a PDF and tells you whether the document is still exactly what was signed, who signed it, and whether the signing certificates are trusted and still valid. The whole check runs on your device: the file is never uploaded.

We cut the JavaScript the homepage and tool pages send to your browser by about three quarters. Pages now ship only the language you are viewing, the search palette loads on demand instead of upfront, and the homepage globe renders at a lower cost on phones.
