n8n

A Novitora node for n8n is on the roadmap, so self-hosted workflows will be able to convert files in a pipeline. It is not published yet. For now, convert files free at Novitora in your browser, then hand the result to the HTTP, storage, and messaging nodes your n8n workflows already use.

Overview

We are planning a Novitora community node for n8n so you can add file conversion to a workflow and keep the rest of your automation self-hosted. The node is not published to the n8n community directory yet, so it will not show up in your node list today. Until it ships, convert files in the browser across 156 formats, then let your existing n8n workflows route the output. Novitora is free, needs no account, accepts files up to 100 MB, handles up to 10 files per batch, and deletes files within 2 hours. Tell us on the contact page if you want to be an early tester.

Frequently asked questions

Still have questions? Contact support.

Is there a Novitora node for n8n yet?

Not yet. A Novitora community node is planned but not published to the n8n directory, so you cannot install it from Settings, Community Nodes, or npm today.

Can I use Novitora in an n8n workflow now?

Yes, with a manual step. Convert your files at Novitora in the browser, then use n8n existing nodes to pick up and route the result. A dedicated Novitora node is on the way.

Will conversions stay on my own server?

Novitora is a hosted web app, so files are processed on Novitora EU (Frankfurt) infrastructure over encrypted connections and deleted within 2 hours. A fully self-hosted conversion path is not available.

What can Novitora convert today?

Novitora covers 581 conversion pairs across images, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, audio, video, archives, ebooks, and fonts, with files up to 100 MB and up to 10 files per batch.

How do I hear when the n8n node is ready?
