AWS S3
Programmatic conversion from Amazon S3 depends on the Novitora API, and the API is still on the roadmap rather than public. There are no keys or endpoints to wire up today. For now, download the object from S3, convert it free at Novitora in your browser, then re-upload the result to your bucket.
Ask about this integrationOverview
We plan to expose a Novitora API so you can convert S3 objects from your own pipelines, but that API is not live yet. Until it is, there is no way to point Novitora at a bucket, assume an IAM role, or trigger conversions from Lambda or EventBridge. What works now is the manual route: download the object, convert it on Novitora, then put the output back with your existing tooling. Novitora is free, needs no account, accepts files up to 100 MB, handles up to 10 files per batch, and deletes files within 2 hours. Uploads use encrypted (TLS) connections and processing runs in the EU (Frankfurt). If an S3-native, API-driven pipeline is on your list, ask for early access on the contact page.

Frequently asked questions
Still have questions? Contact support.
Can I convert S3 objects programmatically today?
No. That requires the Novitora API, which is not public yet. There are no access keys, IAM roles, or endpoints to configure at this stage.
How do I convert a file from S3 right now?
Download the object from S3, convert it at Novitora in your browser, then upload the result back to your bucket with the AWS console or CLI you already use.
Will there be event-driven conversion from S3?
That is the plan once the API ships. We intend to support triggering conversions from your own Lambda or pipeline code. No date is set yet.
What are the current limits?
Each file can be up to 100 MB, with up to 10 files per batch. Novitora supports 581 conversion pairs across documents, images, audio, video, and archives.
How do I get on the API early-access list?
Send a message through the contact page describing your use case, and we will follow up when the Novitora API is ready to test.
