Is there a limit on video length?
Each video can be up to 30 minutes long and 100 MB in size on the free tool. For longer footage, split it into parts and subtitle them one at a time. There is no signup and no daily cap on the number of videos.
Can I edit the subtitles before exporting?
Yes. The AI transcript is fully editable. Click a timestamp to seek the video to that cue, correct the text inline, and your edits flow into the SRT, VTT, and burned-in MP4 exports.
What is the difference between burned-in and soft subtitles?
Burned-in subtitles are drawn permanently into the video pixels, so they always show. Soft subtitles are added as a separate text track the viewer can turn on or off. Burning re-encodes the video, so it takes a few minutes on a long clip.
What happens to my video?
Your video is sent over an encrypted connection for processing, and both the upload and the result are deleted automatically after 2 hours. Novitora never asks you to create an account.
