TOML (Tom's Obvious Minimal Language) is a configuration file format created by Tom Preston-Werner, a co-founder of GitHub. It uses simple key = value pairs grouped into sections and is designed to map unambiguously to a dictionary of values, and it is the configuration format of Rust's Cargo and Python's pyproject.toml files.
