We are building toward a REST API that will let you convert files from your own code, but it is still on the roadmap. There is no API key to generate, no Bearer token to send, and no official SDK for Node.js, Python, Go, or PHP yet. When the API ships, we plan to support file uploads, format selection, batch jobs, and status polling, with clear rate limits and error responses. Until then, use Novitora in the browser: it is free, needs no account, covers 581 conversion pairs, accepts files up to 100 MB, handles up to 10 files per batch, and deletes files within 2 hours. Is the Novitora API available today?
No. The public REST API is on the roadmap. There are no API keys, endpoints, or SDKs to use yet, so you cannot convert files programmatically at this stage.
Are there official SDKs?
Not yet. There is no npm or PyPI package to install today. Official libraries are planned to arrive with the API. We will announce them when they are ready.
How do I convert files in the meantime?
Use Novitora in your browser. Upload a file, choose the output format, and download the result. It is free, needs no account, and files are deleted within 2 hours.
What formats and limits will apply?
The browser app already supports 581 conversion pairs across documents, images, audio, video, and archives, with files up to 100 MB and up to 10 files per batch.
How do I join the API early-access list?
Send a message through the contact page describing what you want to build, and we will follow up when the Novitora API is ready to test.
