How We Protect Your Files
Our security measures for protecting your files during conversion.
Novitora protects your files with encryption in transit and at rest, automatic deletion within 2 hours, and processing in the EU. Conversions are fully automated, so no person reads or handles your files. You do not need an account, which means there is no profile or history tied to you.
Encryption
- In transit: files are sent over an encrypted TLS connection
- At rest: files are encrypted while they sit on our servers
Automatic deletion
Every upload and converted file is deleted within 2 hours. You can also close the results tab as soon as you have your download.
Where processing happens
Conversions run on servers in the EU (Frankfurt). Your files are not moved out of that region to be converted.
Compliance
Novitora follows SOC 2-aligned practices, with certification on the roadmap.
Privacy
Novitora never reads, opens, or shares your files. Because there is no account, no conversion history is linked to you.
