AI-generated voice. Audio is synthesized and may not sound perfectly human.

How it works
Type or paste up to 1,000 characters, or switch to the upload tab for a TXT, MD, PDF, DOCX or EPUB file.
Choose one of ten American and British voices, set the pace, and select WAV as the output format.
Synthesize, preview it, and download the WAV straight into your editing project.
Why choose WAV over MP3
WAV is what production tools want. Video editors, game engines, audio workstations, phone systems and hardware players all read it natively, and because it is uncompressed there is no decoding step and no artifacts baked in before your own processing starts. If the narration is a finished file to send someone, MP3 is the better pick. If it is raw material about to be cut, layered or normalized, generate it as WAV.
What uncompressed actually costs
A WAV file stores every sample as it was synthesized, so it is roughly ten times the size of the same speech as MP3: a minute of narration is measured in megabytes rather than hundreds of kilobytes. In exchange, re-editing and re-exporting never compounds compression damage the way it does with a lossy source. It also means WAV is a poor choice for emailing or embedding on a web page, so convert the finished mix to MP3 for that.

What people listen to
WAV narration is raw material rather than a finished file.
- Dropping scratch or final voiceover into a video editing timeline
- Producing dialogue and prompt audio for games and interactive apps
- Recording phone menus, hold messages and system greetings

Speech questions, answered
What people ask before generating a WAV file. Still have questions? Contact support.
Is the WAV noticeably better quality than the MP3?
On its own, barely, because synthesized speech survives MP3 compression very well. The difference shows up after editing: a WAV can be cut, layered and re-exported repeatedly without compounding compression artifacts, which an MP3 source cannot.
How large will the file be?
Roughly ten times the equivalent MP3, so expect several megabytes per minute of narration. That is fine inside an editing project and awkward as an email attachment.
How much text can I convert at once?
Up to 1,000 characters typed or pasted directly. For longer scripts use the upload tab, which reads a TXT, MD, PDF, DOCX or EPUB file up to 30 MB and about 20,000 characters of extracted text.
Which voices and speeds can I choose?
Ten English voices across American and British, female and male, each with a preview, and a speaking rate from 0.5x to 1.5x. The same choices apply whichever output format you pick.
